Identification and productivity of lobster catching (Panulirus spp) in Aceh Jaya

Abstract Lobster is a leading commodity in Aceh Province and it one of the commodities with high economic price. Besides, believed that Jaya Regency has superior fisheries commodities. This study aims to describe composition catch, relationship between length weight productivity catch on six different types lobster Jaya. The was conducted from June August 2022 waters Jaya, Setia Bakti District, Lhok Rigaih Village. focuses composition, length-weight relationship, measurement productivity. samples taken were species including Panulirus homarus, P. longipes, penicillatus, versicolor, ornatus polyphagus . total dominated by penicillatus 23.94%, followed versicolor 19.71%, homarus 18.30%, longipes 1.40%. 23.20%, 22.79%, 19.41%, 17.42%, 17.02%, as 0.13%. these allometric negatives using gillnet fishing gear averaged 226.66 kg April 2021, 293.51 June, 141.53 December. January 437.26 kg, meanwhile February 77.87 358.85 kg.
